Adopters Information

We will always try and find the best homes for our dogs. This means our adopters will need a secure private garden with a 5ft minimum fence height (no flats – sorry!). It’s only fair to the dogs and we want to give them the best lives, that means somewhere they can have regular exercise and an outdoor space to call their own.

We try to update the website regularly, but we can house up to 15 dogs at a time, many of which stay in the sanctuary for less than a day! If you have a specific breed in mind, you may need to call the sanctuary to check who’s currently in our care and looking for their forever homes, or come down and meet them!

With the current spate of dog thefts in the area we have taken the decision to remove photographs of our dogs for adoption. This will only be a temporary measure. We do however have many dogs needing homes – please call us at the Sanctuary and we will be happy to tell you all about them.

Did you know that you can walk our dogs? We love it when our dogs go out on walkies with our volunteer walkers – but not as much as our dogs do! The kennels environment can sometimes be stressful and getting some one on one attention from friendly people really cheers our pups up.

For further information on these dogs please call the sanctuary

Costs include the vaccinations and microchips.
